What is a digital lobby directory?
It's a screen, at the entrance or in the lobby, that replaces the fixed directional sign: it lists your rooms (with their live free/busy status) and your destinations — reception, restaurant, floors — each with an arrow. It updates on its own, with nothing to reprint.
Do you need a touchscreen or special hardware?
No. A plain screen, a smart TV or an old PC in full screen will do — no kiosk or proprietary box to buy. The display is a web page; a large landscape lobby screen works perfectly.
Can the directory show room availability?
Yes, that's the whole point: rooms managed in MisterSignage appear on the board automatically with their live status (green free, red busy). Visitors see at a glance which room is taken and where to go.
Is it understandable without translation?
Yes. Directions are arrows and room status is a colour — an international visitor understands without reading. Only the names (rooms, destinations) are in your language.
Can you mix rooms and other places?
Yes. The board aggregates your meeting rooms (live status) and free-form destinations you add yourself (parking, spa, function room, floor 2…), each with its arrow. You manage everything from a single tab.
