Android: TV box, Android TV & Amazon Fire TV
The (free) MisterSignage app for Android is the most reliable way to turn an Android box, an Android TV or an Amazon Fire TV into a kiosk screen: full screen, auto-restart on power-on, remote updates. Download the Android APK (or type mistersignage.com/apk straight on the screen). On a TV, the Downloader app lets you enter that address with the remote, then the install starts. Once open, the app shows a code: attach the screen from your account.
LG (webOS) & Samsung (Tizen) TVs
A dedicated TV app is coming to the LG Content Store (webOS) then Samsung (Tizen): installable like any TV app, with no developer mode, for a full-screen kiosk and an always-on display. Until it's published, open the player in the TV browser (see below) or use a small Android box with the APK. Contact us if you're equipping a fleet of LG/Samsung TVs right now.
Raspberry Pi, PC, Mac: nothing to download
On a Raspberry Pi, a mini-PC, a Windows PC or a Mac, no install: open the player address mistersignage.com/tv in a recent browser, full screen, and enter the code. On Raspberry Pi, launch Chromium in kiosk mode on that address at boot — the most common signage recipe.

Automatic updates

How do I install the APK on a TV without Google Play?
