Manage your screens' sound: videos with or without audio, an ambient track, or full silence depending on the venue.
Sound is managed per screen. Depending on the venue, you may want an ambient track (lobby, waiting room) or, conversely, full silence (window, open space).
Videos and sound
Your videos keep their original audio track if you want. On many public screens, muting is preferred: the screen draws the eye with the image, without disturbing. The setting is at screen level, no need to touch each video.
In a window, mute the sound: the message carries through image and motion. Indoors, a discreet ambience can enhance the experience.
Depending on the venue
A waiting room or lobby can take soft ambient sound, a shop or window often benefit from staying muted to avoid tiring staff. Consider hours too: combined with scheduling, a screen can play sound by day and stay silent in the evening.
