Portrait or landscape

Pick the orientation screen by screen: portrait for a narrow window, landscape for a room or menu, the content adapts.

Orientation is set per screen, independently of the others. One account can have portrait windows and landscape room screens.

When to choose which

Portrait suits narrow windows, welcome totems, poster-style vertical layouts. Landscape is the choice for a menu, a video, an information board. Ready-made templates exist in both formats, and the player always fills the screen with no border or distortion.

Set the physical screen's orientation (in the TV or box settings) then pick the same in the card, for a perfect result.

Adapt the content

A visual built for landscape placed on a portrait screen will be cropped: prefer a template or image designed for the target orientation. In multi-zone, you choose the layout that fits: on a portrait screen, prefer horizontal-band layouts (top/bottom banner, three rows) over columns, which would become too narrow.
