Off-hours and standby
Decide what to show when no schedule is active: a message, a still image, or the screen on standby to spare the panel.
When you use scheduling, there are moments with no window: at night, on a closing day, between two slots. You choose what happens then.
Three off-hours options
- A message: “We are closed”, the opening hours, a welcome note.
- A still image: a brand visual, a logo, a poster.
- Standby: the screen visually goes dark to spare the panel and electricity.
Standby extends the screen's lifespan and cuts consumption at night, without unplugging anything.
Why it matters
A screen showing the evening menu at 3am looks bad, and a screen left on the same visual 24/7 tires the panel. Off-hours solves both: the right content at the right times, and nothing (or a plain message) the rest of the time. It is the natural complement to scheduling.
