Locations per network
Each network defines its own list of locations, tailored to its sector: clients tag their screens with it, campaigns target on it.
A location describes where a screen sits in an establishment (Checkout, Window…). As each sector has its own vocabulary, each network defines its own list.
A taxonomy per sector
- Pharmacy: Checkout, Counter, Left window, Right window, Waiting room, Desk.
- Restaurant: Room, Terrace, Entrance, Bar.
- Retail: Window, Aisle, Checkout.
The admin edits any network, an advertiser edits the locations of the networks in their scope.
Who uses it, and how
The network's clients tag their screens by picking from this list, and campaigns target by location, the offered list being the union of the targeted networks' locations. Renaming a location is safe, deleting one while screens use it leaves them “without a location” (they will no longer be targeted until re-tagged), so warn before deleting.
